The Nebraska Association of Behavioral Health Organizations honors someone who, though not a professional in the domain of behavioral health, has an understanding and commitment to supporting the mission of our association. They also speak out to help educate the public about mental illness and addiction to lessen stigma and support those who benefit from a strong behavioral health system of care.

•   Works to increase public knowledge on substance use and mental illness.
•   Supports the work of behavioral health providers and consumer organizations.
•   Demonstrates superior leadership qualities and advocates to promote and support a strong behavioral health system of care.
